To become a member of Saint Gabriel’s Episcopal Church, follow the steps below.
Step 1: Attend Services
Attend a service on Sundays at 8:00 a.m. or 10:00 a.m. The 8:00 a.m. service is traditional and the 10:00 a.m. service is contemporary. Weekday services are offered on Wednesday evenings during part of the year. We encourage you to find what feeds and challenges you.
Step 2: Complete a New Member Form
Share your contact information so we at Saint Gabriel’s can learn more about you and so we can communicate with you. Our office is diligent in keeping your information organized and confidential.
Step 3: Seek Baptism, Confirmation, Reaffirmation, and/or Reception
Baptism is full initiation into the Christian community. Confirmation is a mature affirmation and a commitment to Jesus Christ through the Episcopal tradition. Reaffirmation is reaffirming your mature commitment to Jesus Christ. Reception is being received into the Episcopal Church if you were confirmed in another sacramental tradition.
Step 4: Find a Ministry and/or Small Group
All Christians are called to ministry. We support one another through fellowship, learning, and prayer. Use our website to find your place in the Saint Gabriel’s community.
Step 5: Giving
God calls us to offer our “time, talent, and treasure” to God’s work in the world. A pledge to Saint Gabriel’s is also a commitment to the vision of the church. We believe that giving is a key component to our spiritual formation.
