Saint Gabriel's Episcopal Church

Baptisms, Weddings & Funerals

Pastoral Offices

Any and all people are welcome to contact the Church Office for information about baptisms, weddings, and funerals. The sacraments of Baptism and Weddings are extended to all people within our communities and beyond. Funerals can be held for members of the Parish.

Baptisms (Hatch)

Any and all people of any age can be baptized at Saint Gabriel’s. Baptism is full initiation into the Body of Christ, and all who receive the Sacrament of Baptism are able to receive the Holy Eucharist and become an official member of the Parish. Please contact the church office or Fr. Eric Fialho to coordinate the planning of baptisms.

Weddings (Match)

Weddings are open to any and all persons, and the blessing of a marriage can also take place at Saint Gabriel’s. Saint Gabriel’s is an open and affirming Parish and proudly welcomes anyone from within the LGBTQ+ community to be married here. All seeking to be married in the Church are welcome to contact Fr. Eric for further details. Several sessions of pre-marital counseling must take place before the ceremony.

A schedule of fees is available from the parish administrator.

Funerals (Dispatch)

Funerals are open to all members of Saint Gabriel’s and their families. All within the Parish are encouraged to pre-plan their funeral, and make all their final arrangements known to the Rector. The Church campus has a courtyard where cremated remains can be interred. Plots can still be purchased. Full body burials are strongly encouraged as well as green burials, which can take place off-campus. All funerals are drawn from the Rite 1 Service in the Book of Common Prayer. Sample templates of funerals are easily available through the office, and Fr. Eric is committed to making the planning of funerals as peaceful and seamless as possible.
